Effective [launch date]
These terms are an agreement between you and WATCHHOP LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company ("we", "us"), for your use of the WatchHop app. By using WatchHop, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should have a parent or guardian review these terms.
WatchHop is an informational tool that helps you track your streaming subscriptions, plan when to keep or pause them, follow your teams and shows, and estimate your savings. It is not a streaming service and does not play or provide any shows, movies, or games itself.
WatchHop is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, or any other streaming service, league, team, or network mentioned in the app. All names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify those services.
Prices, plan details, release dates, sports schedules, and broadcast networks in the app are gathered from third-party sources and may be out of date, incomplete, or wrong. Recommendations and savings figures are estimates.
Always confirm the current price and details on a service's own website before you subscribe, and confirm cancellation terms before you cancel. You are responsible for your own subscriptions, cancellations, and charges.
The savings estimates and suggestions are for general informational purposes only and are not financial advice. Decisions about what to buy, keep, or cancel are yours.
If you use the Ask WatchHop feature, answers are generated by an AI and are informational estimates only — they can be incomplete or wrong. Double-check anything important, especially prices and cancellation terms, on the service's own website before you act. Treat AI answers as suggestions, not advice.
Creating an account is optional. If you create one, keep your login details secure and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
This section applies only if and when WatchHop offers a paid subscription (“Pro”). WatchHop is free to use; Pro is optional.
Billing. If you subscribe to Pro, the subscription is sold and billed through the app store you downloaded WatchHop from — the Apple App Store or Google Play — under that store's terms and using your store account. We do not receive or store your payment-card details.
Auto-renewal. Pro subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and at the then-current price until you cancel. Your store account is charged at each renewal unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Managing and cancelling. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access through the end of the period you have already paid for.
Free trials and promotions. If we offer a free trial or a promotional or introductory price (for example, a founding-member discount), the terms of that offer are shown at sign-up. Unless stated otherwise, a free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the standard price when it ends, unless you cancel first. Promotional prices apply only as described in the offer.
Price changes. We may change Pro pricing or features. For existing subscribers, we will give any notice required by the app stores and applicable law; a price increase takes effect at your next renewal after that notice, and you may cancel before then if you do not agree.
Refunds. Because payments are processed by the app stores, refunds are handled under the Apple App Store or Google Play refund policies. Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable, and cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for the current period.
Use the app only for its intended, lawful purpose. Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app or its providers, and do not use it to infringe anyone's rights.
Some links in WatchHop — such as a “Get this service” or sign-up button — are affiliate links. If you sign up for a streaming service through one of them, we may earn a commission from that service, at no extra cost to you.
These commissions never change what we recommend. Our plans and suggestions are ranked by value to you — the fewest dollars for the shows, teams, and budget you actually have — never by what pays us. You are never required to use these links; you can subscribe to any service directly instead.
Show and movie information and images are provided by third parties including TMDB, OMDb, and Watchmode; sports data and logos by ESPN. This Product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. The app itself, its design, and its original text are owned by us.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate will be correct.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any subscription charges, cancellation fees, or missed content, arising from your use of (or reliance on) the app.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the app, in whole or in part, at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Please read this section carefully — it affects how disputes between you and us are resolved and limits your right to go to court.
Try to work it out first. If you have a dispute with us, email support@watchhop.com before starting any formal proceeding. We will try in good faith to resolve it informally within 30 days.
Binding individual arbitration. If we cannot resolve it informally, you and WATCHHOP LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the app will be resolved by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except as stated below. The arbitration will be administered by [arbitration provider — e.g., AAA or JAMS] under its consumer arbitration rules, and the U.S. Federal Arbitration Act governs this agreement to arbitrate.
No class actions. Disputes will be handled only on an individual basis. To the extent permitted by law, you and we waive any right to bring or take part in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.
Exceptions. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies, and either of us may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual-property rights. Nothing here waives any right that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing support@watchhop.com with your request and the email or account you use. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. We will update the “effective” date above and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
